Privacy Policy

At FishDock, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information, particularly concerning regional privacy requirements and analytics.
1. Information Collection and Analytics
We use Google Analytics to gather coarse, aggregated usage information to help us improve the site's layout, calculation tools, and user experience.
Google Analytics is only enabled after applying regional consent rules:
- European Union / EEA / UK: Analytics cookies are disabled by default. We will only track your usage if you actively consent by clicking "Accept analytics" in the consent banner.
- California: Analytics tracking is enabled by default to help us improve, but California residents have the right to opt out at any time.
- Other Regions: Standard default configurations apply depending on local standards.
- Unknown Geolocation: Analytics are disabled by default until you make a conscious choice.
You can review or change your choices at any time by clicking the "Privacy Settings" button located in the footer of any page on this site.
2. IP Geolocation Consent Verification
To comply with regional laws like the GDPR and CCPA/CPRA, we utilize a server-side IP geolocation lookup on page load.
- This lookup determines whether a visitor is in the European Union or California.
- We do not store your raw IP address. The geolocation lookup processes the IP in real-time memory and returns only coarse values (such as country code and state) to configure the consent banner.
3. Support and Inquiries
If you have questions regarding this policy or wish to submit a privacy request, please contact our support team:
Please note that we do not process marketing solicitations through this support pathway.
